Frequently asked questions

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple, not by us.

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your name at the top → Subscriptions.
  3. Find Break the Pouch in the list and tap it.
  4. Tap Cancel Subscription.

You’ll keep premium access until the end of the current billing period. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.

How do I start a free trial, and what happens when it ends?

The Yearly plan includes a 3-day free trial for first-time subscribers. You won’t be charged during the trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid yearly subscription at the price shown in the app when you signed up.

To cancel before the trial ends, follow the cancel steps above. Apple will keep you on premium for the rest of the trial and then stop charging you.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are handled entirely by Apple. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Sign in with the Apple ID that bought the subscription, find Break the Pouch in the purchase list, and follow the on-screen steps. We can’t issue refunds on Apple’s behalf.

My subscription isn’t unlocking premium / I switched devices.

In the app, go to Profile → Restore Purchases. That pulls your purchase history from Apple and re-applies your subscription. Make sure you’re signed in to the same Apple ID that originally bought it.

If it still doesn’t work, email us with the Apple ID email (or just the last 4 digits) and the date of purchase and we’ll investigate.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to Profile → Delete Account and confirm. This permanently deletes your profile, pouch logs, cravings, check-ins, and notes from our servers, signs you out, cancels your local daily reminder, and resets your analytics identifiers. There’s no undo.

Deleting your account does not cancel a Subscription — Apple still controls billing. Cancel through Settings → Subscriptions if you also want to stop renewals.
